Hello, my name is Kylie Youn. I am a fencer who is passionate about mentorship and creating opportunities for others through athletics. My fencing journey was not easy, I struggled through several losses and setbacks. Despite this, I continued to show up and push through challenges.

This project was inspired by those experiences and well as my first exposure to parafencing at a "Walk N' Roll" tournament. Competing against other parafencers opened my eyes to the inclusivity within adaptive sports. Through this nonprofit organization, I strive to increase awareness of parafencing while helping children build confidence and self-belief through this sport.
